Duke’s great-grandfather is, Blue Ryder. He is a famous Lab with many titles such as field champion, junior hunter, and master hunter. He was the test dog for the ESPN Great Outdoor Games Series 2003. Duke comes from a champion bloodline that always produces highly intelligent, trainable dogs. The big, lovable Duke is one of our most popular dogs. Duke is a friendly, outgoing, and a high-spirited companion who has more than enough affection to go around. The sturdy, well-balanced Duke is 26 inches at the shoulder and weighs 100 pounds. His dense, coat is a soft and luscious chocolate. His head is wide, and his eyes glimmer with kindliness. He has a thick, tapering ‘otter tail’ that seems to be forever signaling his innate eagerness. Duke is openly friendly. He is a companionable housemate who bonds with the whole family, and he socializes well with other dogs and humans alike. But don’t mistake his easygoing personality for low energy: Duke is an enthusiastic athlete that likes lots of exercises, like swimming and hiking or fetching.
